NORTHERN GREECE COMMANDO ASSOCIATION
The Northern Greece Commando Association (SKVE) introduces the organization, founded in 2009 by George Soulis and fellow commandos. The association promotes practical shooting sports, offering training and competition opportunities. It organizes IPSC Level I handgun shooting competitions and encourages new members to join and participate. SKVE is a member of the Greek Shooting Federation and the General Secretariat of Sports. Their focus is on safety and providing resources for aspiring shooters, including weapons and training.
Mr. Soulis served as president until June 2021, when he retired. In recognition of his contribution, he was honored with the title of Honorary President of our Association!
Our History
The Northern Greece Commando Association was founded in September 2009 by Mr. George Soulis and some commando friends. With dedication and hard work, they elevated the association to a high level.
The aim is to promote practical shooting, offer training and support to new athletes, and organize high-level competitions. Their philosophy centers on safety. The association is a member of the Greek Shooting Federation and provides both training and firearms to new athletes.
We continue to grow and invite those interested in practical shooting to join us.
In addition to training in the firearms used in practical shooting, the association provides its own firearms to new athletes so they can begin participating in the sport. We organize competitions with great success and continuously increase our membership.
